Oscar Mulero is not just a DJ; he is an institution. In Spain, his name is synonymous with Techno in its purest, most uncompromising, and visceral form. His career spans the entire history of electronic music in the country: from the days of EBM and gothic rock in the 80s, through the explosion of the "mákina" and trance sound in the 90s (which he helped transform and later rejected), to becoming the undisputed leader of serious and mental techno in the 21st century.

The Omen and The Evolution

His residency at the legendary club The Omen in Madrid is the "Ground Zero" of Spanish techno. There, Mulero educated an entire generation, introducing hard, industrial, and futuristic sounds that were not heard anywhere else. Over the years, his sound has matured from the percussive fury of 90s Hard Techno to a much more sophisticated, deep, and "sci-fi" approach. Albums like "Grey Fades to Green", "Black Propaganda", and "Perfect Peace" are masterpieces of sound design, where texture and atmosphere are as important as the kick drum.
