SOUNDIT Festival 2026: An electronic immersion at Parc Nou
The city of Barcelona consolidates its position as the epicenter of avant-garde music with the celebration of SOUNDIT Festival 2026. During July 17th and 18th, the Parc Nou in El Prat de Llobregat hosted thousands of attendees in a format that transitions from day to night, transforming a natural environment into a sound ecosystem dedicated entirely to underground electronic music. This project reconfigures the traditional concept of clubbing by moving dance floor rhythms to open and unconventional spaces.
The event deployed an exhaustive twenty-four-hour music program distributed throughout the weekend. The organization worked alongside architects and acoustic engineers to build four unique stages: ELLIPSE, HALO, ECO, and LABERINT. The main objective of this infrastructure was to minimize acoustic pollution between areas and maximize sound fidelity, integrating amplification systems with the topography and vegetation of the Catalan park.
Musical curation: Techno, minimal, and bass music
The lineup for this second large-format edition integrated more than fifty-five artists. Among the main names, the Russian producer Nina Kraviz, the Belgian duo 2manydjs, and global techno pillars such as DVS1, Oscar Mulero, Blawan, and Helena Hauff stood out. The programming was not limited to 4/4 rhythms, opening up to experimentation, bass, and minimal dub with performances by John Talabot, Laurel Halo, gyrofield, DJ Babatr, and DJ Yirvin. Additionally, the festival hosted the live debut of Eerie Enterprise, a collaborative project between Piezo and upsammy.

The LABERINT stage functioned as an independent ecosystem within the venue itself. The day of Friday, July 17th, was directed by the Munich-based label Ilian Tape, headed by the Zenker Brothers and supported by sets from Skee Mask b2b Stenny, Forest Drive West b2b Mantra, and live performances by Atrice and Fireground. On Saturday the 18th, curatorial control was assumed by the Colombian label TraTraTrax, presenting an immersion into avant-garde Latin rhythms with DJ Lag, Badsista b2b RHR, CCL b2b Verraco, and Lechuga Zafiro.

Strategic alliances and preliminary circuit
As a prelude to the main dates, the organization developed the SOUNDIT Plaza cycle during the months of February and March 2026. These preliminary events served to anticipate the festival's artistic line and activate the local scene. During the central weekend at Parc Nou, the festival formalized alliances with independent radio platforms such as Refuge Worldwide, Canino FM, and the cultural center La Capsa. These entities managed global broadcasts, specialized workshops, and showcases of experimental artists based in Catalonia.
Logistically, the access policy maintained strict regulations, restricting entry to those over eighteen years old and implementing clear guidelines regarding behavior on the dance floor. The combination of meticulous technical production, risky curation that avoids commercial formulas, and absolute respect for the landscape environment positions SOUNDIT Festival 2026 as a reference organizational model for the live music industry in Southern Europe.
