Her sets move between fast, groovy techno, breakbeat, jungle, and hardcore, with a very physical mixing style where the dynamics of the set carry as much weight as the hardness of the tracks. Based in Berlin, she maintains an identity linked to the club and rave culture, but with a breadth of selection that avoids being locked into a single label.

From piano to record crate

Born in Munich, her relationship with music began long before the DJ booth: she trained in classical piano from the age of four, a foundation that helps explain her ear for tension, phrasing, and the development of a session. Over the years, she built a record collection that eventually led her to DJing, first within the Munich circuit. Her entry into the Stock5 environment and the activity around Rote Sonne marked a key stage before her move to Berlin.

Munich, OHM, and the leap to the international circuit

Once in Berlin, her name became linked to Mess, the event series held at OHM, from where her schedule began to project toward clubs and festivals outside of Germany. That journey led her to appear regularly on high-intensity techno and electronic programs, with performances associated with Awakenings, Melt!, Blackworks, EXHALE, Pollerwiesen, and Teletech. Her presence at Boiler Room, Time Warp, DJ Mag, and in professional directories like Resident Advisor has reinforced an image of an artist focused on live performance, the endurance of long sets, and a very immediate reading of the dancefloor.

Precise production, club impact

As a producer, her discography is selective and functional. In 2020, she released Control on the Sektion 1 compilation by R-Label Group, a hard-hitting techno track that also placed her in the 44 LABEL GROUP catalog. In 2024, she returned with 4 am on SEKTION 4, confirming a line of work designed for maximum energy in the booth: high tempos, direct riffs, and rave tension without losing structure. Rather than relying on abundant production, Clara Cuvé has built her reputation on the coherence between selection, technique, and club context, occupying a visible place in the new generation of artists who have pushed Berlin techno into faster, hybrid, and expansive territories.
